Prats also largely contributed to the initial collection of art himself as did Mir\u00f3&#8217;s wife, Pilar Juncosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since Barcelona is the birthplace of Joan Mir\u00f3, his artwork can be found all over the city. If you have been to Barcelona before, you might have noticed the large mosaic strolling along Ramblas. Another great example of his works can be found in Parc Joan Mir\u00f3 next to Plaza Espanya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together with Salvador Dal\u00ed, Mir\u00f3 is considered the most important Catalan painter of the 20th century.
