The Tibidabo Cathedral del Sagrat Cor looks down on Barcelona from the city's tallest peak, Mount Tibidabo.

The historic beach town of Sitges is located about 30 kilometres south-west of Barcelona on the Mediterranean Sea. Due to the beautiful setting on the rugged coastline of Parc Natural del Garraf as well as the exploding property prices Sitges has been nicknamed St. Tropez of Spain.

The mountain of Montserrat is situated roughly 40 kilometres north-west of Barcelona. Its name was derived from the Catalan term translated as serrated (sawed) mountain.
