Torre Agbar is Barcelona’s most modern skyscraper. Situated directly on the city’s largest roundabout, Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, Torre Agbar has quickly become one of the icons of modern Barcelona.

Casa Vicens in Carrer de les Carolines 24 in Barcelona's district of Gracia is considered Antoni Gaudí's earliest important work. It was built for the family of industrialist Manuel Vicens between 1883 and 1889.

Palau Güell (the Guell Palace) was constructed by Antoni Gaudí between 1885 and 1890. It is named after Eusebi Güell, the famous industrialist who funded many other works of Gaudí as well.

Casa Battló at Passeig de Gracia No. 43 by many is considered as the most beautiful building that Antoni Gaudi has designed in Barcelona. It was originally built in 1877 but it only received its contemporary Modernista style in 1906.

Casa Mila in Barcelona is commonly known as La Pedrera. It has been constructed until 1912 on Barcelona's most expensive boulevard, Passeig de Gracia.

Colonia Güell is situated in the village of Santa Coloma de Cervelló some 20 kilometres from Barcelona. It was formed on the country estate Can Soler de la Torre by Eusebi Güell.
